Fashion-Clothes |
The men in Ifni wear the same clothes than all the Berbers in the South of Morocco, white cotton underwear, wide dresses and tunics, woolen or cotton and woolen robes, generally white, and a white turban. Crossing the tunic, one or two strings with a leather bag tied on one end and a “gumia” (weapon) on the other end. In the country, magnificent gumias are made with silver sheaths, finely carved. On their feet, the classical pointed slippers.
Women in the Northern tribes also wear white clothes but in Isbuia, they wear the dark blue jaique, like women in the desert. With the jaique, they only cover their heads and not their faces, like all Berber women. They are beautiful, slim, with ovoid faces, big black eyes and copper complexion. |
